A change is a coming…

Over the last 8 years I have personally experienced how being creative can bring joy and a sense of calm in a busy world. Taking part in a creative activity for even a short time has also been to reduce anxiety and stress and improve your wellbeing.

So I can support you and help you find joy in creativity I have been consolidating the practical and the theory as I undertake my training to become a Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Facility practitioner which is a mental health profession that uses the creative process of art-making to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being for individuals of all ages.

I have also been exploring and strengthening my knowledge and use of aromatherapy and will be able to share this with you from 2025.

My popular workshops will continue to provide you with the creative space to relax and enjoy the flow along with some essential oils to support your wellbeing.

So if you would like to continue on this creative wellbeing journey with me please join me over on our new website:

Have you crafted for your Wellbeing?

Crafting can be an incredibly rewarding and therapeutic activity. It’s no wonder that many people are turning to crafts as a way to relax and de-stress. From needle felting to Indian block printing, there are so many different crafts you can try for your wellbeing. Whether it’s creating something beautiful or simply getting lost in the creative process, crafting has been proven to have positive effects on mental health.

Needle felting and Indian block printing are two popular crafts that you can try for your wellbeing.

Needle felt some low calorie cake!

Needle felting is a fun craft that involves using sharp needles to shape wool into 3D objects or sculptures, while Indian block printing is an ancient art form that involves creating intricate patterns using wooden blocks dipped in dye. Both of these crafts require patience and concentration, allowing you to get lost in the creative process and forget about all of your worries!

If you would like to try either of these crafts we have some beginners workshops in February & March that you may like to book onto….pop over to our workshop page to check the next date.

Full House

Are you every in need of a change but can only afford to spend a little?. Sometimes all you need to do to brighten up a room is move the furniture around and introduce a new handmade touch that is unique and not available on the high street.

Printing & Felting

There are lots of crafts that could be incorporated to give your room a little lift, a wet felted bowl or a plant pot cover, a hand printed cushion, a handmade quilt, a lampshade, the list is endless. You can also keep the costs low by upcycling fabrics

At a recent Indian Block Printing workshop we ran we discussed lots of ideas of what to do with the pieces of fabric that attendees had printed on . Any of the sample prints could be put into a frame or added to a blank card for that next unexpected occasion.

Lampshade’s & Clocks

As we are starting to plan our workshops for next year we are going to add some of these suggestions, may be the small lampshade first and then the clock, you could come up with your own colour co ordinated home furnishing s range, we might even add a waste bin…..
